Picture of Bonazah Community Development of Africa, President & CEO Benjamen Azah on Humanitarian mission in South Korea with World Vision a Non-government Organization (NGO) which is based on Christian relief, development and advocacy organization which respects other religions and does not work on the premise of conversion. World Vision cooperates with leaders of different religions around the world and does not discriminate people against religion, culture, gender and race. World Vision was founded in the ashes of Korean War. Dr. Bob Pierce, an American evangelist and war correspondent, saw a lot of children dying in the streets at the field of Korean War and determined to build a charity foundation to save them in 1950. Putting his conviction into practice, he opened a foundation in Portland, Oregon, U.S. and began fundraising with the help of churches. Dr. Pierce also started helping war orphaned children and widows of Korea. That was the first step World Vision took in its ministry. “Let my heart be broken by the things that break the heart of God.” The prayer of Dr. Bob Pierce became the base of World Vision’s spirit. The place in the pictures is Beommul Community Center in Beommul-dong, Daegu.
