Action 2015#BOCODA

We have come to that time of the year again that we are requesting your support as we kick start this year donation drive “Action 2015 #BOCODA”.  The Management Team would like to thanks all who donated last year and helped us reach our goal of $10,404.00. The money raised was put to several good uses. BOCODA’s activities are geared towards sustainable livelihood and poverty alleviation, notwithstanding we are concerned about the sustainability of our environment. We target grassroots initiatives and responsive programs in our activities realization. Some of our activities carried out so far are:

• Promoting educational programs that encourage student retention in primary and secondary schools
  
  
• Stimulate interest in the educational process by organizing community educational conferences in rural localities
  
  
• Create local strategic forums for groups and individuals to further educational goals.
  
  
• support infrastructural development in our community schools
  
  
• Promote youth initiatives in economic growth
  
  
• Promoting women innovative in financial management and economic growth

The donations this year will be placed in our existing and the expansion of the planned programs outline in the 2014 annual report. Each program of BOCODA is design to have a series of personnel depending on the magnitude of the projects; however each project design requires a project Coordinator whose responsibility is to initiate, coordinate and report on the realization of the projects under his/her control. These Project Coordinators are all supervised by the programs director who reports to the Country Directors of Bonazah. Mobilization of financial recourses to be able to meet up with the demands of the projects is the core need of each project. The Management Team would like to see if we could match last year’s amount of $10,404.00 and possibly reach the $15,000.00 mark. For complete report see "2014 Annual Report" on our homepage/Report.
